Children's Chapel: Prayer Jars
By Janice Truitt, Children's Minister
Over several Sundays the children have been experiencing activities that increase their understanding of prayer.
Creating a prayer jar is a great way for your child to learn how to pray. They can decorate the outside of the jar and create prayers for inside.
Once they've decorated the jar, you can ask your child to think about gifts they are grateful from Jesus. They write those down and place them in the jar. Then at prayer time the child pulls out some cards and forms a prayer.
