Children's Chapel: St. Valentine
By Janice Truitt, Children's Minister
At Resurrection, we have several families with college students. Throughout the year, we like to send them care packages as a reminder that we love them, and that we are praying for them.
We're collecting items to send to them for Valentine's Day, so this past Sunday we made Valentine's cards for our college students.
I talked to the children about Saint Valentine, a priest and bishop who ministered to Christians who is associated with a tradition of love that we celebrate on February 14.
We had so much fun -- we hope our college friends will appreciate the artistry of our hand-made creations!
